PAAVille Skyline - Wake IslandПросмотров: 24935I would guess this in the main intersection of PAAVille on Wake Island, photographed by my father, Woody Walsh, circa 1953. He took a series of slides, and these two images were stitched together with modern software. I like the one lone soldier walking in the lower right hand corner --- he's the only sign of "traffic."

Marjorie's New Polo ShirtПросмотров: 7399We had a young Polish lady --- Agnes --- help us on the farm. She left one of Marjorie's Polo shirts to soak overnight --- but apparently soaked it in acid. She came to us from a recruitment agency, Claire Meade Ltd. They described her as "house proud." We didn't pay their fee.

Kiko Wearing A Mud SuitПросмотров: 1763Kiko loves to drop his ball in water, and then try to get it. In the house, he puts it under glass shelf at the bottom of an end table. Today he outdid himself: into the little stream that runs through our property. Because it's been dry, the stream is mainly mud. It looks like Kiko is wearing a mud suit.

Transax Christmas Photo - 1987Просмотров: 1355We'd just moved into Tricorn House in Edgbaston. We still had the funny old Warwick Systems VDU's. We decorated the offices on the 9th floor with the tacky Christmas tinsel, and took this picture of exhausted authorisers (in fact, pretty much everybody) on Christmas Eve 1987.

Tapa and the Daisy SprinklerПросмотров: 3527We bought this silly yellow daisy sprinkler at the BBC Garden Show --- for Tapa. We knew he'd chase the water all over the place. And he did, for hours. When we shut it off, he'd stand at look at the limp daisy, waiting for it to do something. So we'd have to turn it on again.
