Bark.ch (“we”, “us”) runs this photo gallery. We try to collect as little
about you as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
You can browse the gallery without giving us anything at all, and without an account.
If you register for an account, we store the username, email address and password you
choose; the password is stored only as a one-way hash and we cannot read it. If you leave a
comment, send an electronic card, or use the contact form, we store what you type together
with your IP address, so that it can be published or delivered and so that we can defend the
gallery against spam and abuse.
This gallery has been running for many years and some accounts and comments are very old.
If you would like an old account, comment or card removed, write to us at the address below
and we will remove it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except as
described on this page.
Cookies
The gallery itself uses only the cookies it needs in order to work — to keep you
logged in, and to remember display preferences such as how many thumbnails you want per
page. Our advertising partners, described below, may set their own cookies.

We show advertisements through Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running the
gallery.
