Comforting Kiko694 viewsI tried to explain to Kiko that he should really sit on the chair, and not on the magazines. But he just wanted to be in my lap.

Kiko694 viewsThis is our last photo of Kiko. I didn't want to bother him by getting up close with the camera, but did want some photographs of Kiko on his 12th birthday, May 1, 2007. He died later that evening, on the couch, and with Marjorie and me at his side. Marjorie asked, "Why do I miss him so much?" But just do a search on this website for "Kiko" to look at all of his pictures. He always made us laugh.

Craig in the Worcester Royal Infirmary693 viewsWith my bad Achilles' tendons, I managed to slip-and-fall in our own conservatory at midnight. I managed to limp to the couch, but at 3 AM I couldn't get up. Two ambulances later (they needed four people to lift me I was at the hospital. They did X-rays and CAT scans, and concluded that I had "soft tissue damage." Here I am, drinking a Diet Coke from one of those little cup things. May 5 2006

Kiko693 viewsThe Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway, in the Cotswolds, is only about 20 miles from Lucies Farm. It's a dog-friendly hotel, so we occasionally take the dogs there to enjoy cream tea with us. Kiko is waiting for the arrival of the food.
