McDonald's Fresh Garden Salad713 x bekekenPhotographed on our table at the McDonald's on Hylton Road, Worcester. This is the second salad: Marjorie couldn't eat the first one. The helpful staff said this one had been "freshly made." It appears to be made from old ingredients. It certainly doesn't look like the salad pictured on their website, or at the counter.

Power Cables in Our Track713 x bekekenOn the afternoon of August 23 2006 there was a huge downpour punctuated with thunder and lightning. Then the power went off. Normally the cause of an electrical failure is somewhere distant and unknown. But on the 23rd the downed cables were in our track. Repairing the cables looked like it would take two weeks --- but it took about six hours.
