Herman Miller Mitta Chair759 kez bakıldıThis is the arm rest on my Herman Miller Mitta chair --- less than a year old. Trying to get them to honour their 12 year guarantee (or whatever it is) has been a real challenge. The chair is very comfortable for my bad (broken) back, but not so good from an armrest standpoint.

Magnolia Blossom - Whitecroft758 kez bakıldıI love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.

Whitecroft Sunset - 5 August 2005758 kez bakıldıOur neighbor farmer, Thomas Hawkins, planted a cereal crop on the field next to Whitecroft. With it all rolled up nicely into bundles, Marjorie, Tapa, and I went to have a look at the big rolls at sunset. Whitecroft is just visible in the trees.

The DVD's From The States758 kez bakıldıMarjorie and I miss "Survivor" and "Amazing Race," neither of which are shown in the UK. (Although they've recently started to show the latter here.) I found a gentleman on Elance to record the two programmes for me on DVD's. As you can see, we're not exactly on top of watching them.
