Lord Rannoch and a Lady Friend699 viewsWe just moved the ladies from Birchfields 1 down the little road to Birchfields 2. Rannoch was delighted to make their acquaintances, again, in a Highland bull sort of way.

GQ Style - September 2006699 viewsGQ Style sent a photographer all the way from London to take my photo giving Lord Rannoch a shampoo. This was during May, after I'd broken my back but before it was diagnosed correctly. All I remember of this photo shoot was the pain -- with my crutch just out of the shot. The article is about "desire unlimited," and I have my own page --- along with folks like Armani and Messrs. Dolci and Gabanna.

Latch on Stable Gate699 viewsThis Came electronic latch was installed by Automation Gates in early 2005. The stable gate is exposed to direct wind, and the installers indicated that the wind on the gate was breaking the arm that connected the gate with the motor. At the same time, the motor was replaced with a different --- and presumably better --- motor. The latch meant that when the gate closed it would be supported, against the wind, on both ends. But the latch didn't always engage --- usually because of the wind.

The new privacy gate being installed699 viewsWe're tired of folks passing on the public footpath stopping to look into our stableyard --- hence the installation of the two meter gate.

Cattle Having Their Dinner698 viewsNot quite a family portrait. The bull in the foreground, Rull Ballet Cruz, is an Aberdeen Angus. The calf and cow (her mother, Betty) are Gloucester cattle. Enjoying dinner on the 4 Acre Field, summer, July 10 2005.

Doorbars HQ in Downtown Worcester698 viewsOur Czech farm hands assisted Richard Pugh by painting the exterior of the Doorbars building --- green. I think it looks great. October 28 2006, a typical dreary day in sunny Worcestershire.
