Marjorie Walking Kiko in Broadway1205 viewsI like this photo. I was about to discard it because Kiko's head is hidden, but then I noticed how Tapa's photo on the handbag really replaces Kiko's head. Gave me a good laugh. Photographed outside the Lygon Arms in Broadway, in the Cotswolds, in July 2005.

My Steak Sandwich at "It's All About Me" - Ironbridge1205 viewsWe stopped in Ironbridge to have lunch. The name of this restaurant caught our attention, and it had a gorgeous sunny terrace overlooking the Severn. We ordered steak sandwiches. This is mine --- the largely uncooked fat was on the side of the steak. I couldn't bite through the steak because of this large streak of fat. When we asked to have the meals re-cooked, we were told our re-orders would be put in the queue behind other diners. We left.

Craig and Marjorie Before Dinner1203 viewsI just held the camera out with one hand and pressed the shutter. My foot really hurt on this whole trip, but if we didn't take the trip ("bought" with British Airways miles) by December 1, we were told we'd lose it. So I took golf carts everywhere, or sat by the pool. Easy, peasy in Dubai.

Highland Cow, Her Calf, and Aberdeen Angus1197 viewsThe afternoon of March 19, 2005, on our four acre field. The Highland calf was born on Thursday: she's a heifer. She looks like the folks at Steif created her. This is a photo of mother (a pedigree Highland cow), baby, and one of our pedigreed Aberdeen Angus cows. The photo shows the difference between a Highland cow (on the left) and an Aberdeen Angus cow (right).
