And they don't foul in the stable, just in a corner of the stable yard. This is all one litter: they're brothers and sisters. Born in April 2005, about six months ago. Isn't it great how they sleep in a big gaggle?

We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.

Steve Patch and Ann Heward at the Supper Club1171 viewsI read about the Supper Club in Amsterdam in Conde Nast Traveller and we made reservations. At that time you ate on large beds. The restaurant didn't have its name on the door, wasn't in the telephone directory, and the concierge in our hotel had never heard of it. The new Supper Club website looks very swish, but perhaps not as much fun.
