He took a series of slides, and these two images were stitched together with modern software. I like the one lone soldier walking in the lower right hand corner --- he's the only sign of "traffic."

An Iron Age Pig17697 زيارةThis 11 or 12 year old pig is a cross between an Iron Age pig (which itself is a cross between a Tamworth pig and a wild boar) and a Gloucester Old Spot pig. While she looks fat, she is incredibly fast.

Berkshire Piglets17162 زيارةWe bought Fairoaks Mermaid 4 as a pedigree Berkshire sow in gilt. The sellers, the Bignells, told us her possible farrowing date was May 26. On the appointed date, along came the piglets. This photograph was taken just after they were born.

A Berkshire Pig15901 زيارةWe once raised Gloucester Old Spot pigs -- until everyone started doing it. I could never understand why the GOS pig had been bred so that its ears covered its eyes. With the Berkshire pig, the ears stand up and the pig is quite majestic.
