Carole and Her Calf560 viewsCarole is our Guernsey house cow. When she's in full action, she produces all of the delicious Guernsey milk that we can possibly drink --- and she's milked by hand. She's just had a new calf, a bull calf. I was taking his photograph, and Carole stepped in to protect him.

Karcher Vacuum Cleaner Repair558 viewsWe paid almost 80 and waited two months to have our Karcher vacuum cleaner repaired by Express Cleaning Supplies near Malvern. The very first time we tried to use it, the pipe (their repairs?) fell apart in our hands. We called, and they didn't return our calls. So much for pride in your work.

The Compost Heap and Kissing Gate552 viewsThis is in the corner of the farm, along a public footpath that runs on our property. As it's now sunny we're removing the accumulation of compost and using it to fill holes and valleys on our various fields.

The proud mum545 viewsThis is such a sad story. We had this lovely Clydesdale mare. She gave birth to this foal but less than 1 month and £10,000 later it had to be put down and then shortly after she died of colic. Gave up on big horses after that!!

Gonna make this really burn544 viewsTime to get rid of the old chicken shed. Because of the fleas, etc., that seem to dwell in a chicken shed, we decided the most sanitary way of disposal would be to burn it.
