Winter Morning - Maggot's Croftšt. ogledov:783The field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.

Fig Tree - Whitecroftšt. ogledov:773We have what the gardeners call a "micro climate" at Whitecroft. It's near the boiler, and just beneath the exhaust fan from the kitchen. The fig tree loves it. Okay, it's not the sunshine of Turkey or Greece, but you take what warmth you can get here in sunny Worcestershire.
