4th of July at Whitecroft672 viewsFor the second year in a row (a tradition?) we put our huge American flag, bought by us just after 9-11, up on the hedge at the front of Whitecroft, along Colletts Green Road. Here's Marjorie posing with Kiko. Note the busy rush-hour traffic. July 4th 2006

The Broken Water Meter672 viewsWe had a leak at a pig trough. Pavel couldn't find a way to turn off the water to the trough, so turned off all of our water. When he tried to turn it back on, he broke off the valve next to our water meter. Severn Trent came along and painted a big blue arrow and gave us some bottles of water. The pile of blocks was to try to hold down the lid to the water meter/valve.

Walking Down Our Track672 viewsTaken from our track (and public footpath 578) looking south towards Colletts Green Road. Our double white gates are to the left (east) but not visible. Jack and Margaret's gate is to the right (west). The structure behind the telephone pole is the garage for the Cider Mill. This photo shows how their conifer hedge is overhanging the track.
