"Spooky" Alice and Her Calf458 زيارة"Spooky" Alice is our only Highland cow minus her horns. Our former stockmen wouldn't handle her as they felt she was too dangerous, so the compromise was to keep her (instead of kill her) but minus her horns. Alice and her calf have now moved to a new home in Wales.

We finally called the West Midland Safari Park and Bob Lawrence, their Head Warden, came out to assist us "dart" the cattle. This photo was taken in sunny Worcestershire on a December afternoon --- not the Mara.

Highland Cow Mooing At Her Calf441 زيارةUK302940600028 was scheduled to go (along with her calf) to a wonderful new home in Wales. We spent two days trying to box her, and finally gave up --- at least for the time being. In this photo, she's mooing at her calf, who we did manage to catch.
