Whitecroft Deckingšt. ogledov:503Third time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.

The Wooden Seat - Lord's Woodšt. ogledov:640We went to look at the woodland yesterday (27 Oct 05) and were pleasantly surprised to find that the woodsmen had cut a seat from one of the stumps. Here's the seat, and Marjorie having a rest.

Ross' lady!!št. ogledov:973The artificial "cow" sent to us from Matthew Barney's studio in New York. Unfortunately, the production in Paris was cancelled, so we never had the experience of trying to encourage Ross to be amorous with this plastic cow. We are awaiting orders for its removal or destruction.
