Spring Morning on the Whitecroft "Canal"681 mol gekuckt ginnUp early in the morning (unusual for me) to check on the newly arrived Bronze turkeys. I spotted these yellow flowers on the banks of the small Whitecroft "canal." It's spring.

Magnolias - Whitecroft722 mol gekuckt ginnI love magnolias, especially the big white ones you find all over the place in the U.S. south --- "grandaflora" I think they're called. This year the "English" magnolias have been gorgeous. I don't know if this is because of our hot summer in 2003. Whatever the reason, they're beautiful.

Whitecroft - Spring Afternoon653 mol gekuckt ginnApril 25, 2004 -- Gorgeous Spring Sunday -- Marjorie and I spent the day reading the papers, etc., out on the lanai. (Actually, I read the papers while Marjorie tossed Kiko's ball.) Kevin mowed the front lawn on Friday afternoon, so took this photograph with the Cone Noses.
