The Canal Path1060 viewsA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

Side of Lord's Wood Cottage With New Addition695 viewsThis photograph, taken looking south down the Lord's Wood access road, showing the new addition on the eastern side of Lord's Wood Cottage. I believe that the fence encroaches on our property, and the new addition is right up to the fence line.

The Path to the Ticket Booth, Stadio Olimpico497 viewsAs incredible as it seems, this was the path to the ticket booth for the opening ceremony of the Torino Winter Olympics. The booth, in a porta-cabin in the Piazza d'Armi, could only be found via a small A4 paper sign, written only in Italian, nailed to a small stake. The Olympic Stadium is only about 50 meters to the right of this photograph. This was taken the day before the opening ceremony.
