Because the bolt on the bracket was close to the hinge, the hinge itself could not be mounted in the centre of the gate post. The hinges, therefore, appear to have cracked the gate posts on both sides.

Where The Gates Close836 katseluaThe gate on the right in this photograph (northern gate) has particularly deformed. Within days it was impossible for us to close the gates. Albion refused to repair this. Our handyman used an electric sander to sand the interior edges of both gates. The northern gate drags on the ground.
