Cookie and the Stream148 viewsCookie looking over the small dam in the stream. Naturally, she then walked across the dam, only to be confronted by the fence on the other side.
Lord's Wood Track246 viewsThis photograph is taken from our track leading into Lord's Wood. The camera is looking south, towards Lord's Wood Cottage. The brick structure is, I believe, an old chicken coop. According to our recorded title documents, our property line runs on the eastern side (left in this photograph) of the chicken coop. As shown by this photograph, the fence is quite a distance from the coop. This is being double-checked by our surveyor.
Nosy Pig1334 viewsTamworth pig showing me that his nose can go right through the fence, thank you.
New Lord's Wood Gate281 viewsSome neighbours objected to our green burial planning application because they thought --- incorrectly --- that Lord's Wood was some sort of community "amenity." It is, in fact, our private property, and contains no public footpaths. To demonstrate this, we have reluctantly put up an electric fence and gate at the entrance.
Ridgeback and Chicken135 viewsOK, it's not hunting in Africa --- and there is the small matter of the fence in the way.
Pigs Lined Up At The Fence5449 viewsThe young Tamworth boars (red) and young Berkshire boar, Westbrook (black) line up at the fence --- with the alpacas in the background.
Casey93 viewsRunning along the fence (don't worry, the electric fence is off). On the other side are pigs, chickens, and the three alpacas.
Side of Lord's Wood Cottage With New Addition245 viewsThis photograph, taken looking south down the Lord's Wood access road, showing the new addition on the eastern side of Lord's Wood Cottage. I believe that the fence encroaches on our property, and the new addition is right up to the fence line.
Cars Parked at Lord's Wood Cottage303 viewsThe old (apparently Victorian) chicken coop is shown by the red arrow on the right. Our deeds to the Lord's Wood track show that the boundary line runs next to this chicken coop. The fence line is considerably to the east of this wall.
Lord's Wood Cottage238 viewsI believe that the wooden fence line encroaches on our property. This photograph is taken looking southward down the track, towards Colletts Green. Our track is on the left in this photograph. Lord's Wood cottage, and the new extension, is shown on the right of the fence.
Lord's Wood Cottage Showing New Extension235 viewsThis photograph is taken looking south down our track (towards Colletts Green). The new metal extension, with wooden doors, is on the eastern side of Lord's Wood cottage.
Back of Lord's Wood Cottage261 viewsPhotographed from the back of Lord's Wood Cottage, looking towards the south. The brick chicken coop is shown in the centre of the photograph, with the metal leaning on it.
