Battleship Aurorašt. ogledov:554On October 25 1917 the battleship Aurora was ordered to take to sea. At 9:45 PM a blank shot fired from her forecastle signaled the start of the assualt on the Winter Palace, which is said to be the start of the October Revolution that led to the overthrow of the Czar. The Aurora is now preserved in St. Petersburg.
