Winter Morning - Maggot's Croftšt. ogledov:783The field behind our house is called Maggot's Croft (it clearly came with that name --- not something we thought up). It was once an apple orchard, and these old trees are left from those days. Taken by Marjorie on a cold winter morning, December 28 2004.

Here Big (left) and our vet, Richard Chamings operate on the boar's rear. Tranquilising a wild boar proved to be quite a challenge: he just didn't want to lie down.

Here Comes Spicešt. ogledov:1561Spice, a Golden Retriever, loves to swim, so coaxing her into the pool was easy --- just toss in her ball. Spice's owner, and our veterinary surgeon (Richard Chamings), is the gentleman standing and watching. I think he thought he'd manage to stay dry.
