A glorious, sunny day so Marjorie and I took Missy and Ronan walking in Lord's Wood -- our private, 17 acre woodland. We kept them on the lead because there are sheep in the next field, and while Lord's Wood is fenced, we didn't know if it was Rottweiler-proof.

The Six Pears731 mol gekuckt ginnWe bought these six pears from Solstice in London. They're from France, and the tips of the stems have been sealed with red wax. But the pears looked a bit beat up when they arrived (I took this photograph shortly after we opened the box). They taste great --- but I'm not overly fond of all the cuts and bruises.
