The Concorde in Aquaba, Jordan926 زيارةFor my 40th Birthday (1989), Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan on the Concorde. We started in Aquaba, with an overnight visit to Petra, and then took Concorde to Amman. While there, we went to the Dead Sea, and also road on an old Turkish steam railroad and had a picnic in the desert.%486 %18, %2006

Marjorie Floats in the Dead Sea -- Jordan1125 زيارةWe took an "afternoon dip" in the Dead Sea, 1989. Because of the high salinity it was impossible to do much more than float. And the salt irritated every small cut you didn't even know you had. When we got out, the soap wouldn't lather to wash off all of the salt.%483 %18, %2006
