Latch on Stable Gate695 x bekekenThis Came electronic latch was installed by Automation Gates in early 2005. The stable gate is exposed to direct wind, and the installers indicated that the wind on the gate was breaking the arm that connected the gate with the motor. At the same time, the motor was replaced with a different --- and presumably better --- motor. The latch meant that when the gate closed it would be supported, against the wind, on both ends. But the latch didn't always engage --- usually because of the wind.%28 %415 %2007

This motor, installed in early 2005 to replace an earlier motor, is mounted on a separate, metal gate post, and it opens and closes the gate (or at least it did, before it was broken by the windstorm) using the metal arm.%28 %415 %2007
