Mole Antonelliana - Il Volo Dei Numerišt. ogledov:1367The Mole (or "heap") Antonelliana is the symbol of Torino. The red neon numbers up the side, by Mario Merz, are the Fibonacci numbers.

Throwing the Dog Into The Airšt. ogledov:1017The skateboard dude stunned us all -- including Tom Green, holding the microphone -- by tossing his little dog into the air. Fortunately, he caught the dog.

Dining Room With A Map of Torinošt. ogledov:929This dining room at the Torino Mediacentre had a map of the city on the floor. There are also see-through plastic tables and chairs, but they're difficult to spot.

Via Po -- Heading to the Olympic Storešt. ogledov:956More "Luci d'Artista" --- this time it's "Palomar" by Giulio Paolini. "Palomar consists of many circles of light that meet and overlap until they assume the aspect of planets and satellites."

Man, Dog, Skateboard - Sestierešt. ogledov:975Tom Green, the comedian, was filming in Sestiere. For some reason, there was a dude with a skateboard and a red dog, and they came riding down what passes for the main street.

Marjorie Getting Ready for the Olympicsšt. ogledov:1031At our hotel in Saluzzo, The Griselda. The staff at the hotel were tremendously friendly, but the bed and pillows were made of concrete, and we were right next to the lift and heard every creak and clatter.

A Caribineri (Policeman) in Cesana Pariolšt. ogledov:1107The cashier at a restaurant near our hotel observed, "We thought we'd be invaded by tourists. Instead, we were invaded by the police." Most caribineri were glum and unfriendly. This gentleman, however, was different. He even helped me to my seat, and carried my camera.

Two "Doormen" in Torinošt. ogledov:946These two ladies were, I suppose, "doormen" at a hotel in Torino. I thought their hats were funny (as did they) so they let me take their photograph --- until the President of the Republic of Italy arrived.

Marjorie Sitting on the Kiss Couchšt. ogledov:1067And looking at her new green boots.

Xenon for Torino - Piazza Castello - Jenny Holzeršt. ogledov:2485Torino has a programme called "Luci d'Artista." Jenny Holzer uses powerful Xenon lights to project "her words with the intention of contrasting ignorance and violence with sweetness and moral courage." The English didn't make much sense to Marjorie and me, but the castle was impressive.

Me -- At Lunch in Bra, Italyšt. ogledov:1130We went to lunch in Bra, Italy (I liked the name). While we waited for our food, Marjorie and I played around with my ultra-wide angle lens. I'm not sure this photograph of me is all that flattering: I don't think I will be using it when it's time to renew my passport!
