The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Style300 εμφανίσειςMarjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

Joe Looking at Canal737 εμφανίσειςWe have a 1/4 acre duck pond at the front of our property. To raise the level of the pond, and extend it somewhat, we built a small dam down one stream. (Not exactly Hoover Dam.) We call this "the canal," even though it's probably not more than three feet deep at its deepest point. It's a site of attraction for Retrievers and Labradors!
