Magnolia With Flying Insect216 viewsI love magnolias. The only problem is that these huge flowers seem to fall apart: in doing so they avoid being cut from the tree and put in a vase. Wonderful big petals, and a great smell that, at least in this case, attracted a small flying insect of some sort.

Barney and Mana Playing in Marjorie's Lap352 viewsPoor Marjorie just wants to relax and watch TV, and she has Mana and Barney on her lap playing rough house. They both look fierce, but they're just doing their Cujo impersonations. They don't actually bite each other.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4071 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
