Marjorie's New Polo Shirt7475 viewsWe had a young Polish lady --- Agnes --- help us on the farm. She left one of Marjorie's Polo shirts to soak overnight --- but apparently soaked it in acid. She came to us from a recruitment agency, Claire Meade Ltd. They described her as "house proud." We didn't pay their fee.

Waiting to Go In The Submarine to Dinner308 viewsIn the Burj al Arab, the seafood restaurant is supposedly below the sea. To get there, you take a "submarine" that's more like a Disneyland ride. I'm in the holding area, waiting for our "submarine" to arrive. The restaurant has a huge fish tank, so it's like eating (I guess) underwater.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4071 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
