The Cider Mill and Our Track219 viewsOur track is the gravel area to the right (east) of The Cider Mill. As is shown, the house has essentially no land on its eastern side, except for a small brick path about three feet wide. Our post-and-rail fence is on the right of this photograph.

Magnolia Flower179 viewsOur magnolia tree in the front garden is all in bloom. These huge flowers don't really last too well in a vase, but they make the garden smell wonderful when they're open.

Hobart taro peeler510 viewsWhenever I see or even think of this taro peeler, I can't help but remember Francisco hunched over it with the taro. He'd open the little hatch door on the side, and filthy water loaded with bits of taro and dirt would go flying all over the ladies in the peeling room. This would happen dozens of times each day, but the ladies never seemed to mind.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4073 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
