Nana, Baba, and the Silversword1098 viewsThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.

Cathy, Marjorie, and My Sunglasses476 viewsWe had lunch outside, and actually got a bit "tan." I had Kraft Macaroni & Cheese purchased at Selfridge's as part of their "Vegas" promotion --- cost almost $8.00 for the package. Marjorie and Cathy had smelly fish.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4077 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
