Betwixt Eton and Windsor213 زيارةOn our visit to The 2006 Wag and Bone Show we sloped off to Eton and Windsor for lunch. This is the bridge linking Eton and Windsor. Tapa is too busy watching the Canada Geese to pose for the camera.

Front Hedge at Whitecroft278 زيارةThere's a hole in the road near our hedge, and in the winter it fills with salt water. That splashes on the hedge, and has killed the lower branches. We've installed a small gate her to give us access to the pond area and uppermost part of the garden.

Latch on Stable Gate352 زيارةThis Came electronic latch was installed by Automation Gates in early 2005. The stable gate is exposed to direct wind, and the installers indicated that the wind on the gate was breaking the arm that connected the gate with the motor. At the same time, the motor was replaced with a different --- and presumably better --- motor. The latch meant that when the gate closed it would be supported, against the wind, on both ends. But the latch didn't always engage --- usually because of the wind.

Three pig arcs224 زيارةA project not quite finished. The hard core needs to be compacted on Monday to keep the wild boar from just messing it up. The hard core is quite thick, and very porous. The rain water should drain away --- which it doesn't do with clay.
