The Broken Water MeterПереглядів: 192We had a leak at a pig trough. Pavel couldn't find a way to turn off the water to the trough, so turned off all of our water. When he tried to turn it back on, he broke off the valve next to our water meter. Severn Trent came along and painted a big blue arrow and gave us some bottles of water. The pile of blocks was to try to hold down the lid to the water meter/valve.

Kiko and His Yellow BallПереглядів: 1417Kiko loves to play ball. He invents all sorts of complicated games and strategies, and he prefers to try them out with Marjorie rather than me. He knows that he's not allowed to bring the ball into the house (only because he will continue to chew it, and will slobber all over the place) so he makes the decision of when to leave the ball outside and come indoors. Looks like he snuck indoors today with the yellow ball.

Marjorie and Tapa resting their eyesПереглядів: 1330I recently asked Marjorie if she'd sell Tapa for 10,000. "Oh yes," she said. We could always get another puppy. Does this look like someone who would sell Tapa?

Severn Bore - Awaiting Breakfast and WaveПереглядів: 442We made breakfast reservations at the Severn Bore Pub and got up really early. The plan was to have breakfast-then-bore, but they were so crowded we had to wait until after the "event" to have our fry-up.

Sunapee Harbor - New HampshireПереглядів: 4053We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.Трав 28, 2012
