| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Candles at York Minster Cathedral146 viewsMarjorie and I always like lighting candles, letting birds go free, ringing bells, etc. --- all the things you do in churches and temples throughout the world. At York Minster Cathedral we each bought a little candle. Ours were the only two on the go.

The Broken Water Meter204 viewsWe had a leak at a pig trough. Pavel couldn't find a way to turn off the water to the trough, so turned off all of our water. When he tried to turn it back on, he broke off the valve next to our water meter. Severn Trent came along and painted a big blue arrow and gave us some bottles of water. The pile of blocks was to try to hold down the lid to the water meter/valve.

Marjorie With a Tank at the Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam303 viewsWe read about this museum and were curious. We had to specifically ask our guide to take us. There was nobody else there. The whole museum was dusty and forgotten, something left over (barely) from another time, another place. I'd be surprised if it's still there.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4083 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
