Compacting the Gravel642 mol gekuckt ginnIn the front of Woodman's Cottage, morning of September 19 2006. A beautiful, sunny, warm monring. This work was done for us by Albion Landscapes. They were the lowest of three bidders I contacted. They were very fast, and they did an excellent job.

Looking Over The Fence, Lord's Wood Cottage638 mol gekuckt ginnThe brick chicken coop on the left. This photograph is taken looking towards the North-West. The post and rail fence is in the foreground, the clump of trees in the centre of the photograph are where the fence was previously located.

New Lord's Wood Gate637 mol gekuckt ginnSome neighbours objected to our green burial planning application because they thought --- incorrectly --- that Lord's Wood was some sort of community "amenity." It is, in fact, our private property, and contains no public footpaths. To demonstrate this, we have reluctantly put up an electric fence and gate at the entrance.

The grassy area is the front garden of Woodman's Coggage. The existing, side fence is in the foreground. It meets the new fence at the traffic marker. Photographed September 15 2006.

Lord's Wood Cottage618 mol gekuckt ginnThis photograph is taken from the south, looking northward (towards Lord's Wood itself). This metal extension was constructed recently on the eastern side of Lord's Wood cottage. It goes right up to the fence, which we believe encroaches upon our property.

Looking Southward Down The Track611 mol gekuckt ginnLord's Wood Cottage (with its new extension) is on the right. This photograph shows how the tyre tracks have moved to the east (left in this photograph) because the post-and-rail fence is too far to the east.

Bluebells in Lord's Wood603 mol gekuckt ginnBluebells --- Hyacinthoides non-scripta --- flower early in the year, between April and June. In this way they can make good use of all the available light, before the trees above them become covered with leaves, and block out the sun.
