Kiko in the Driver's Seatšt. ogledov:785We just came home from the grocery store, and Kiko didn't want to get out of the car. So we left him the back seat, with the back door opened. About ten minutes later, he'd moved to the front seat, where he took charge. Here's Marjorie (seen in reflection) taking a photo of Kiko the driver.

Tapa in the Caršt. ogledov:470Tapa loves to go riding in the car, so I took him for a short ride while I photographed the Tamworth piglets, and then went off to get milk. When I was outside, Tapa moved to the driver's seat, and put his paw up. He looks quite relaxed.

The Wooden Seat - Lord's Woodšt. ogledov:307We went to look at the woodland yesterday (27 Oct 05) and were pleasantly surprised to find that the woodsmen had cut a seat from one of the stumps. Here's the seat, and Marjorie having a rest.

Burj al Arab Hotel -- Dubaišt. ogledov:9715Photographed from the beach at the Madinat Jumeirah. The Burj al Arab -- Tower of the Arabs -- rises above the Arabian Sea, and was built to look like a sail. The right side of the hotel is made from Kevlar, the bullet-proof material. Look at the crowd on the beach.

Waiting to Go In The Submarine to Dinneršt. ogledov:278In the Burj al Arab, the seafood restaurant is supposedly below the sea. To get there, you take a "submarine" that's more like a Disneyland ride. I'm in the holding area, waiting for our "submarine" to arrive. The restaurant has a huge fish tank, so it's like eating (I guess) underwater.

Marjorie Floats in the Dead Sea -- Jordanšt. ogledov:417We took an "afternoon dip" in the Dead Sea, 1989. Because of the high salinity it was impossible to do much more than float. And the salt irritated every small cut you didn't even know you had. When we got out, the soap wouldn't lather to wash off all of the salt.
