Pet Expo Boothvista 450 vecesI loved doing the Pet Expo. They let dogs, etc., into the Blaisdell Center. People are, I think, happier when there are dogs around. I know I am.
Float Ready To Go.jpg
Poi Company - Kamehamea Day Parade, 2002vista 449 vecesGreat float, I thought. This was the second year of our participation. Marjorie, Cathy and I walked the whole parade route holding the POI banner.

Birchfields, Easter Week-endvista 543 vecesA misty Saturday before Easter, 2004. The Highland cattle have been fed a bit just so we could easy have a look at them all. A pastoral scene in the English countryside: enjoy it before it's gone. I wonder if Birchfields would make a good Tesco parking lot?

The Canal Pathvista 691 vecesA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

Artichoke and Mintvista 316 vecesWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.

Green and Bluevista 265 vecesWhen I was a kid, I had a typewriter ribbon that was blue and green (or maybe it was purple and green) --- rather than black and red. These two plants in our garden remind me of that old typewriter.

Whitecroft Garden - May 2004vista 301 vecesMarjorie, the dogs, and I spent all day today --- Sunday --- outside in the glorious sunshine. As we were going in, I walked around the garden with my camera and spotted these pretty flowers. Springtime turning into summer in the English countryside.

Kiko, Tapa & Marjorie in the Gardenvista 5780 vecesWhitecroft - Summer 2003. Marjorie in the garden trying to relax, but the dogs are having none of it. The www.dogshumping.com domain is for sale. It would make an unusual gift.7 commentarios
