Joe In Residence in His Cubbyvu 560 foisNaturally Joe was looking right at me in an award-winning pose until I clicked the shutter, when he turned away. I suppose he was disdainful of my doggie paparazzi act.

Joe Viewed From Abovevu 798 foisWith it so dark and wet outside, it was difficult to take a long shot of Joe. When I got down on my knees to take an eye-level shot, he was all over me like a cheap suit. This photo is taken from above: Joe is watching the aniseed cookie I'm holding (awkwardly) over my head.

Joe, Outside, At Nightvu 474 foisNight falls at about 3 PM. And on Christmas Eve, night came with rain and cold. A flash was needed --- hence the doggie equivalent of "red eye." More "green eye."

Joe Investigatingvu 469 foisEverything is wet and dreary outside --- this photo was taken at about 4:30 PM and it looks like midnight. Doesn't bother Joe....!

Joe at Christmasvu 992 foisIt was technically a White Christmas. We had a bit of hail followed by a few snow flurries, and it all left a bit of a white dusting on the lawn. This called for a big red bow!

Joe on Frosty December Morningvu 590 foisTemperatures reached minus 4 degrees last night. This morning was sunny and frosty, and Joe was ready to romp.

Joe Keeping An Eye On The Turkeysvu 520 foisWe have some Bronze Turkeys (we bought our Christmas turkey at Morrison's, so what does that say about us?). Here's Joe, the hunter, keeping an eye on the turkeys. They're oblivious of his presence --- or they know the fence is strong.

Joe Watching Our Ducksvu 500 foisFortunately there's a fence just out of sight in this photograph, so our Khaki Campbell ducks are safe.

Joe-finds-stream.jpg
Guess What? Joe Has Found The Stream!vu 501 foisWe have a small (about 12 inches wide, 6 inches deep) stream that runs through our property. Joe has discovered that it's much more fun to romp in it than to cross it on the bridge.
