Bromsgrove Cemeteryvu 276 foisA grave with plastic flowers. They'd been there so long they were covered with mold and algae. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemeteryvu 268 foisThe tree was recently pruned: I suspect that these graves had previously been completey covered by the overgrown tree. Just to the right of this grave were two large garbage cans. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemeteryvu 1580 foisQuite an "active" family plot, with lots of plastic flowers and the green crushed glass that I think looks like it should be in an aquarium, not a cemetery. May 2005

Bromsgrove Cemeteryvu 1289 foisI thought this inscription was quite moving. Too bad about the plastic flowers. May 2005

Lord's Wood Entrance to Bransford Roadvu 318 foisOur car is parked on the triangle of land that's part of the Lord's Wood title deed, and provides access to the Colletts Green to Bransford Road. The plan is to pave or gravel (with compacted gravel) this area in the next few weeks. When we commence woodland operations, the sawmill needs (I'm told) to be able to pick up the cut trees from next to the road, so this will become the staging area for that.

The Day Tarmac Camevu 178 foisThis is our second load of gravel from Tarmac for the farm drive. We had 15 tons yesterday, and this is 20 tons. What would we do without the tractor and the bucket on the front?

The "Back" Gardenvu 165 foisOne of our doggie ball-playing areas. The bench is where Pau and Kea are buried. I feel their presence whenever I'm out there.

Me Doing My Underwater Navigation Testvu 196 foisOn a wrecked barge in the Red Sea, 1996. We chartered an Egyptian live-aboard boat and brought along three diving instructors (two from England, and Grant Graves from Malibu). We were able to dive three and four times each day, and each dive was a lesson. At the end of the trip, we all had dozens of PADI certification cards!

New Fence and Curbvu 239 foisBy the afternoon of September 15 2006 (when this photo was taken) the new fence had been erected. The curb across our track (the eastern track) is designed to retain the gravel we are about to install in the triangle between the fence and the road.

The New Fence at Woodman's Cottagevu 250 foisPhotographed on the afternoon of September 18 2006. The excavation of some of the triangle area had started, and the load of gravel had been delivered. The nice new fence is shown in the background.

Woodman's Cottage -- The Pile of Gravelvu 234 foisThe gravel in a big pile, waiting for the excavation to be completed. The gravel was then spread and compacted. Photographed on the afternoon of September 18 2006.
