In The Garden -- Dowsett Avenuevu 3140 foisI'm playing with cut flowers. I'd guess this is late 1949 or early 1950, taken in the garden at 140 Dowsett Avenue. The great expanse of lawn and garden that ultimately became (sadly) 156 Dowsett Avenue.

Craig in the Model Village - at 140 Dowsett Avenuevu 382 foisPlaying in the back garden at 140 Dowsett Avenue in Nuuanu, creating my own little "model village," 1958. I can remember painting the clay pots to look like houses, and (of course) there was the obligatory running water. Didn't take long for it to turn into mud.
