Marjorie Visiting With Kiko400 زيارةAt the Queen Mother Hospital, Royal Veterinary College. This is our first visit with Kiko after he had a couple of lung lobes removed surgically. We drove down to Potters Bar on Saturday afternoon to see how he was doing and to give him some fish (which we bought at a motorway stop on the M40 for 7.99).%598 %01, %2007

Kiko -- Hairless On One Side444 زيارةKiko a few days after the surgery to remove two lobes from his right lung. This is our first visit with Kiko after his operation. They certainly shaved a lot of his fur. He was hungry and seemed happy to see us. What he really wanted to do was leave! We're hoping he can go home later today.%598 %01, %2007

Kiko After His Lung Surgery387 زيارةDespite the big surgical gash behind his right leg, he's still bright-eyed and was happy to see us. He made it clear that he'd had enough of hospital life, and wanted to go home.%597 %01, %2007

Electronic Innards of Stable Gate547 زيارةI asked Gregorz to please remove the cover to the stable gate equipment this afternoon, and this is what we found. I believe this is the radio-control equipment, as well as a step-down transformer for the gate motor. It's been mounted about eight inches above the ground, but is always covered by a thick black cover. Gregorz had to remove a few screws to reveal the "innards."%415 %28, %2007

Stable Gate at Lucies Farm699 زيارةPhotographed from the stable yard, looking down our track (with Gregorz manually latching the gate). The motor that should open and close the gate is on the right in this photograph. As is shown, the gate is exposed to the elements, and wind coming down the track and from the neighbour's field hits the gate staight on.%415 %28, %2007
