The Donkey Farriervu 1482 foisPedro and Geofredo haven't seen a farrier in a while --- it's been very difficult for us to find a farrier that will do donkeys. But now their hooves are trimmed and pretty.

Carole and Her Calfvu 231 foisCarole is our Guernsey house cow. When she's in full action, she produces all of the delicious Guernsey milk that we can possibly drink --- and she's milked by hand. She's just had a new calf, a bull calf. I was taking his photograph, and Carole stepped in to protect him.

Merlin the Guernsey Bullvu 277 foisIt's a bit silly, but we have one Guernsey house cow (Carole) and one Guernsey bull (Merlin). They are very lovey-dovey, and spend a tremendous amount of each day grooming each other. In this photo Merlin looks a bit like a Roman devil-god. I think it's his short, stubby horns.

Richard Chamings and Carolevu 263 foisCarole, our Guernsey house cow, has a bit of mastitis. Enter Richard Chamings, our vet from White House Vets with a huge injection of antibiotics.
