The Old and the New1398 x bekekenThe Tamworth pigs are about to be moved to a nice grassy field in the four acre field. This will give us a chance to renew and replant their field. This photo shows the contrast: the green field in the back has recently been re-planted with a pig resistant turf from Hurrells.

Westbrook5237 x bekekenWestbrook is a Berkshire pig boar. He currently lives in the tall grass of the chicken field. I sat down to take his photograph and he wanted to take large bites out of my legs, arm, and (especially) shoes. He's getting big and strong, so I suspect my sitting on the ground with him will be a thing of the past.
