| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

Round Bushes and Fig Tree123 viewsThis is the "entrance" to our front garden at Whitecroft. The fig tree is growing well --- our theory is that it's near the flue from the boiler, and also the kitchen extractor fan. The fig tree is in its own "micro-climate" that is hopefully a bit more like the Med than like Malvern.

PAAVille Skyline - Wake Island25303 viewsI would guess this in the main intersection of PAAVille on Wake Island, photographed by my father, Woody Walsh, circa 1953. He took a series of slides, and these two images were stitched together with modern software. I like the one lone soldier walking in the lower right hand corner --- he's the only sign of "traffic."

Massaging an Angus Steer11570 viewsWe weigh the cattle every week in a chute called (and I hate this name) a "crush." While in the crush, we take the opportunity to massage them using our large electric massager. This Aberdeen Angus steer still has part of its winter coat, even though this photo was taken on June 10 2005.

Entrance to a Badger Sett -- Lord's Wood273 viewsThere's the equivalent of an apartment building for badgers at the top of one of the ridges at Lord's Wood. Using my telephoto lens, I took a photograph of one of the dozens of entrances.

Curly Tail4980 viewsWhen I saw this photograph, it reminded me of those ribbon pins that seem to be all the rage at awards ceremonies. This curly tail belongs to one of our Berkshire pigs.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
