Frankie Looking Sad118 viewsThis is another photo of Frankie eating peanut butter. Just before snapping the shot, I called Frankie's name and he looked in my direction. I usually spend a moment removing "eye muck" with Photoshop, and when I went to do so with this image, the tear was really touching. So instead of removing Frankie's tear, I removed the hand with the peanut butter.

Artichoke and Mint344 viewsWe got lost one day going to Coventry (or somepleace awful) and we found the National Herb Centre. They had the most wonderful, big, silver-green plants that turned out to be artichoke plants. Ours didn't grow anywhere as large, yet. But fresh artichokes from the garden are great. We've surrounded the little artichoke plant with mint. Whitecroft, on a warm Spring day in April, 2004.
