| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Pool and Back Garden at Whitecroft248 viewsWe've had the pool liner replaced, again. Haven't actually put a toe in the outside pool since 1996 or so. It's been quite a chore to get it clean --- lots of ugly algae and other things. Looks like we'll have it ready --- in time for autumn.

Marjorie and Me, Eiffel Tower, 1989264 viewsI barely recognize Marjorie in this photograph. While I don't remember Marjorie looking like that (what's with all the hair?) I remember buying that Lacoste green sweater in Paris. I still have it.

Marjorie and Cranberry574 viewsWe hatched Cranberry ourselves last summer. When the other turkeys came (we bought them from a hatchery) Cranberry looked horrified. After a few weeks she became friends with them, but at Christmas they went away, one at a time. Cranberry looked so lonely, so we bought her 10 friends. But she seems to prefer our company to that of the other turkeys. She comes running after us, and then crouches down to be rubbed.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
