| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Wooden Gate Closure252 viewsThis photograph shows how the gates have warped. Our handyman sanded the edges of both gates -- when Albion refused to do so -- otherwise the gates would not close at all.

Chase and my Teddy Bear519 viewsI think this is a great picture of Chase, and it's the last known photo of my teddy. The teddy was purchased at the gift shop in Kapiolani Maternity Hospital the day I was born. It had a red felt tounge and wooden eyes. It went with me to university (my mother hid it in my suitcase). When Marjorie and I moved to the U.K. in 1986, Chase asked if she could keep it. And then my ex-wife, the Rev. Marcia, made Chase give it away. Lost teddies. Stinky ex-wives.

Sewage on Colletts Green Road502 viewsHigh rates, undersized sewers. We have complained about this for years, but get the old "budget" story. The sewers were probably fine until the housing estate was built. No increased resources were put into the sewer, so the water bubbles up on Colletts Green Road, and then flows away into the River Severn through the run-off system.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4086 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
