| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Some of the Trees Cut Down in Lord's Wood269 viewsAll of the trees are cut down in accordance with our Woodland Grant Scheme, and under the supervision of our forestry consultant. It's surprising how much more light this has brought into the woodland. I understand that this will help the flora on the forest floor to thrive.

All that ancestor hunting has made me a thirsty bunny168 viewsTime for lunch. All of the villages were were looking at were very small with not much open so we stopped at hairdressers and asked where we could get food. We were directed to the village of Ulrichstein which actually had a couple of eateries.

Juno136 viewsIt's been pretty dark and miserable during most of Juno's stay with us, so we decided to do an indoor studio shot against a background. Of course, getting Juno to stand on his "mark" proved to be a bit of a challenge.

Hey, it's still food207 viewsWe returned from a trip to celebrate the New Year for 1998 to find that the right side of Pau's face had sunk in. After tests it was determined that he had a tumour. We had it removed but it meant that for a while he couldn't eat solid food so I used to make sloppy polenta for him. You could always tell where Pau had been - follow the yellow polenta trail!!

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4083 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
