| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

The Tewkesbury Ferry298 viewsThe other day, when coming home on the M50, I spotted a sign to the ferry. The ferry? Today we went to have a look, and there really is a ferry that runs several times a day from this beautiful spot on the River Avon (actually near the motorway) to Tewkesbury. That's Bredon Hill in the background.

Colletts Green Road410 viewsThe undersized sewers are again not up to the task. The water bubbles up, and then flows from the sewers into the highway run-off system. So sewage is escaping and going down into the River Severn. We have complained about this for 15 or more years, but nobody does anything about it. We installed our own mini sewage treatment plant so we weren't dependent upon the main sewers.

Ben and Jed Building the Bonfire at Lord's Wood227 viewsThe mission was to build a bonfire whose flames would leap up the top. This became known as the "Wall of Fire Project." We used leylandii cuttings, both from the front garden at Whitecroft and from other tree surgeons working in the area. Ben and Jed are unloading the last bit of cuttings from the trailer.

Our Room (722) at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London194 viewsWe decided to stay the night at the Grosvenor House because the dinner after the BAFTA Awards is held in the Great Room. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise: large room, spotlessly clean, friendly staff.

Lake Shasta?492 viewsI don't know why I think this is Lake Shasta. I've never been to Lake Shasta. It's Nana on the right, and could be Mum (Baba's mother, Lily Wyser Wilkinson) in the middle. Don't know who it is on the left, or the year.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
