| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

PanAm Boeing Stratocruiser 377 in Honolulu, Circa 19496143 viewsI did a Google search on this aircraft, N1025V. It was the first of 21 Stratocruisers delivered to PanAm (delivered on January 31, 1949). At the time it was called "Clipper America," although that doesn't seem to be the name in this photograph. (PanAm apparently had many aircraft called "Clipper America" over the years.) N1025V is now sold as a model. The real N1025V was sold to the Israeli Air Force in 1963 as a cargo plane, and last flew in March 1974.

Craig and the Corvette229 viewsI managed to get out of the house to enjoy some of the snow. At least with my bright jacket if I fell I'd be dressed for the ambulance.

Marjorie on the Train from Birmingham to Malvern194 viewsWe worked in Birmingham for a decade and never took the train from Birmingham to home. Here's Marjorie, riding backwards (which she hates), on an extremely crowded mid-day, mid-week train. It was truly awful -- I suspect a train in any third world country would be better. Our first trip from Birmingham to Malvern Link. And our last.

I'll get the hang of using a pen eventually369 viewsJohn trying to sign something with his plaster on, not the easiest but he did it. Do you like the red cast?, he had a choice of red, black or blue, so what other colour would an art teacher choose?

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
