Gloucester Old Spot - Tamworth Cross Piglets6510 viewsAbout six or seven months ago a farmer asked if he could bring his two Gloucester Old Spot sows to Lucies Farm so they'd have a litter of Tamworth - GOS piglets. The farmer visited us several times and then vanished, leaving us with the babies (and their mothers). These are part of the two combined litters.

When we did so, on a bright spring afternoon (our wedding anniversary), my camera was stolen. I'd just entered the underpass, and as my eyes adjusted to the gloom someone bumped into me quite hard, and I knew my camera was gone when my left shoulder suddenly didn't feel the weight. But there was a crowd, and no obvious villan.

It filled the room. In fact, one of the four posts actually went up and into the antique chandelier. You couldn't use the single bedside lamp: it was behind a non-retractable curtain.
