| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Artwork at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London170 viewsThis artwork (plastic bottles with light bulbs) adorned the shelves in the first floor lobby of the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in The City of London. I particularly liked all of the extension cords and power cables. I couldn't plug my laptop in at my desk in my suite, but there were plenty of plugs in the lobby for the illuminated bottles.

A Caribineri (Policeman) in Cesana Pariol600 viewsThe cashier at a restaurant near our hotel observed, "We thought we'd be invaded by tourists. Instead, we were invaded by the police." Most caribineri were glum and unfriendly. This gentleman, however, was different. He even helped me to my seat, and carried my camera.

The Stairway, M1 Southbound at Trowell192 viewsThis is the stairway to climb to the bridge over the motorway. The signs indicate there's a Marks and Spencer at the M1 southbound, but it's actually on the other side of the motorway. You need to climb these stairs (no lift) to get to the bridge, and then repeat the process on the other side of the motorway. Very misleading in my opinion. But not in the opinion of Moto.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
